I also have a significant experience in mentoring and training of team members along with strong project management and leadership skills.
How has your career at Quantify evolved so far?
I joined Quantify almost 6 months back as a manager focused on medical writing, and in no time my role broadened allowing me to contribute to the evidence generation projects in the evidence review and synthesis team. I got opportunity to work upon literature review tasks and writing of RWE manuscripts. Other than the project work, I also got involved in business development working on proposal sections, scanning of potential client molecules, and conference presentation. I have been able to enhance my leadership skills both technically and at the management level by constant guidance and support from the Quantify management teams.
What is your main interest within your field of expertise?
Literature review, patient safety, and medical writing.
How do you share your expertise?
I try to help other colleagues whenever possible and discuss interesting topics with others as well as doing trainings and workshops within my area of expertise, as well as the new area I have ventured into.
What happens on a really good day at work?
Starting of the day in a team meeting, where I can discuss important topics and check-up on the other team members. Next, blocking up some time in the calendar to focus on project specific work. After that lunch with colleagues followed by a walk around the office premises with a cup of tea/coffee. If time permits, I like to read and discuss with colleagues some interesting subject or hot topic. Being part of a new upcoming office (In India), spending some time discussing and brainstorming with our country director to implement some better practices or activities within office.
What defines the Quantify culture?
Work life balance is the first thing that comes to mind along with commitment to add value to any task we perform. Other than it is fun, friendly, and driven at the same time.
Why did you choose to join Quantify?
The type of work (patient safety and real world data) which can make a difference, the work culture (as mentioned above), and the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally in a positive nurturing environment.
